Transcription: Lines are great for directing the viewer's attention, creating a sense of depth and showing movement. It doesn't matter if the lines are straight or curved or if they lead the eye into the image or lead it away as long as they are dynamic. To arouse the viewer's interest, lines must convey a sense of motion. But be aware of lines that run parallel to the edges of the image as they can appear dull and static.
