Transcription: Bouncing light is an easy way to reduce harsh shadows created by bright sunlight. Bounce cards can be purchased at your camera store, but effective bounce cards can be created using white cardboard, foam core, a sheet, or even a white shirt or jacket. Simply have someone hold the bounce card on the side of your subject that's in shadow. To diffuse strong light, place a translucent material, like a sheet or shower curtain, between the light source and the subject.
