Transcription: The focus workshop sequences consist of one reference photograph at a deep depth of field and five photographs at different points of focus using a shallow depth of field. The San Francisco flower mart was in full operation while we were there. Our camera position in the doorway was quite a challenge. The other sequence was shot at a small park at the foot of Mount Tamalpais in Marin County. The cutout people were used to determine the optimal position for the models, but this test shot of Edward wasn't quite what he expected. you
