Transcription: Exposure was the most difficult sequence to shoot. The scene had to include bright, dark, and middle range elements, and it included the largest number of photographs. The hotel room sequence was shot at the charming Casa Madrone Hotel in Sausalito. The shoot was made more difficult because our lights kept blowing the fuses in the older hotel. The plastic sheet has a grid on it and was used to record exposure settings at each point in the scene.
