Transcription: Some of the most spectacular landscape photographs are taken at dawn and dusk when the light casts an orange or red tone. This dramatic shift in the color of light is due to atmospheric interference. Early and late in the day, as sunlight strikes the Earth's atmosphere at a lower angle, the atmosphere filters out most of the shorter rays. The longer light rays, the red and orange ones, penetrate the atmosphere, creating landscapes with beautiful warm colors and tones.
