The Minicat digital catalogue on this CD-ROM have been produced to allow general access to these high-quality limited-edition prints of historically important subjects. The copyright in the digital images rests with Alecto Historical Editions and their use for any purpose other than private viewing or study is illegal. In particular, they must not be copied, distributed or reproduced in any way without permission.
The 'Minicat' catalogue is present on the CD-ROM in two forms:
1) The installable Minicat which will take up approximately 10Mb of disk space. It also gives the option to install a screensaver which will show the catalogue images in sequence.
2) A version of the Minicat which will run from the CD-ROM (it installs some small system files at runtime, but these are deleted when the program exits).
The disk should 'autorun' after insertion in the drive and offer a menu with these two options but they can also be run directly from Windows Explorer. The executable files are in the 'Bodmer' directory - 'Setup.exe' will install the Minicat to your hard disk.
'Minicat Viewer.exe' will run the program from the CD-ROM.
System Requirements:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This version of Minicat is a 32 bit program and needs Windows 9x to run properly. We have not tested it on Windows NT or 2000 but so far as we are aware, it should run without difficulty. It needs no more memory than the operating system minimum requirements but we would recommend a graphics card capable of displaying 16 million colours at 800 x 600 resolution.
