Transcription: Moses took two new stone tablets up to Mount Sinai, and on them he wrote the Ten Commandments. Moses stayed on the mountain for forty days and nights without eating or drinking. When Moses came down, his face was shining, for he had been speaking with God. The Israelites were afraid to come near Moses, so after Moses told the Israelites what God had said, he put a veil over his face.
