Three of the files in this folder are self-installing zip files, you do not need Winzip on your PC to install them. Simply double click on the appropriate file to install it. The files will install themselves into the correct directory as noted below. These files simply copy a clean version of "autoexec.nt" and "config.nt" into the correct directory.
If you have Windows XP Home, double click on "XPHFiles.exe"
If you have Windows XP Pro, double click on "XPPFiles.exe"
If you have Windows 2000, double click on "W2KFiles.exe"
NOTES:
(1) These files assume that Windows was installed in the default directory - Windows 2000 in the C:\WINNT\System32 directory and XP in the C:\Windows\System32 directory. If Windows was installed in a different directory on your PC, these files will not work.
(2) Once you install the appropriate file above, you will need to reboot your PC. If after you reboot your PC you still get an error message when trying to install AutoTech, you should rerun the appropriate file above, then locate the two files "autoexec.nt" and "config.nt" on your system and set each file's attribute to read only. Then reboot your PC and try to install AutoTech again.
