- TRELLIS - The Adventure Interpreter
- (c) copyright 1991-9 Soft Rock Software
-
- Distribution
- ------------
-
- The Trellis program, and all related code, is a copyrighted product of Soft
- Rock Software. Any Trellis based game will require copies of certain parts
- of the program code in order for it to run. These files are automatically
- placed in a game's application directory when Trellis 'makes' the game. A
- 'licence' file is also copied across, which specifies which files are
- copyrighted to Soft Rock Software, and that they can *only* be distributed
- as a part of the game, and according to the same conditions of distribution
- that have been applied to the game.
-
- For example, this means that if you were to write a game, and release it as
- public domain, so that it can be freely distributed, then the files that
- are necessary to run it that are (c)SRS may also be distributed freely; but
- *ONLY* as a part of the game. They cannot be distributed seperately.
-
- With previous issues of Trellis, I asked that a licence be applied for from
- Soft Rock Software; I no longer require this, since changing the way in
- which Trellis games are put together. However, I would still like to be
- notified of any and all games releases, including whether they are to be
- released as public domain, shareware, commercial... whatever.
-
- Please! :-)
-
- Preferably with a copy of the game (because I like playing games instead
- of working - as I've said before!)
-
- I would like to mention Trellis based games, and from where they can be
- obtained on my web site; if you have written a game, this would amount to
- a free advertisment - what better reason to let me know about your games?
-
- It really is quite shocking... I *know* that games have been written with
- Trellis; I've seen mention of them... but I have no idea who has written
- them, what they are called... they may not even be with the commercial
- version; they may be with the pd version (the text only version, which I
- released as pd after adding graphics) in which case, why am I bothering
- to ramble on here? I dunno, it's very late at night, and I'm tired...
-
- Go and write some games, why don't you? :-)
