  8.                  Application Licence
  9.                  -------------------

  11. In this licence, the following terms have specific
  12. meanings:-
  13.  
  14. Application     - The !Trellis application, and all
  15.                   files contained within.
  16.  
  17. Documentation   - The contents of the Instructs
  18.                   directory.
  19.  
  20. Example Sources - The contents of the Pyramid and
  21.                   Crystal directories.
  22.  
  23. The Software    - All of the above, and any other
  24.                   files found on the disks as
  25.                   supplied.
  26.  
  27. You are permitted to make a single runtime copy of
  28. the software, all documentation and example sources,
  29. and store the original disk for backup purposes. In
  30. the case of floppy only users, you are permitted to
  31. put the main application (!Trellis) onto an extra
  32. runtime disk, on its own, in order to maximise the
  33. available disk space for writing your game.
  34.  
  35. This runtime copy must contain *all* the original
  36. supplied files, including all copyright notices.
  37. (In the case of Floppy only users, the extra runtime
  38. disk must contain *all* the files within the
  39. !Trellis application directory.)
  40.  
  41. The software may only be run on one stand alone
  42. computer. You may not run this software on more than
  43. one computer either by way of backups, copies, or by
  44. moving the disk from one machine to another, and it
  45. may not be used across a network.
  46.  
  47. Please contact Soft Rock Software if you wish to use
  48. the software on more than one machine.

  50. You may not reproduce the application, the
  51. documentation, or the example sources in part or in
  52. whole in any way whatsoever, nor make any or all of
  53. it available to any third parties for any reason.

  56.            Adventure Game Distribution
  57.            ---------------------------

  59. When run with an appropriate source game directory,
  60. the software will create an application directory
  61. containing everything necessary to run your game.
  62.  
  63. This will contain a number of files sourced from the
  64. !Trellis directory, which are necessary to enable
  65. your game to run. These files are, in effect, a part
  66. of your game, and may be freely distributed by you
  67. as a part thereof. They must, however, remain
  68. unchanged. These files are:-

  70. !Yourgame.Trellis.!RunImage
  71. !Yourgame.Trellis.SRSLogo
  72. !Yourgame.Trellis.SRSLibrary
  73. !Yourgame.Trellis.Licence
  74.  
  75. Your method of distribution may be whatever you deem
  76. as suitable, and by whichever third parties you
  77. choose, subject to the above files remaining intact
  78. and unchanged, as well as all references to Trellis
  79. and Soft Rock Software.
