- = Guardians of the Labyrinth - by Vince M. Hudd - (c)1991 Soft Rock Software =
- ==============================================================================
-
- Please note that this game is now rather old...
-
- In order to make it work on the new machines various minor changes were
- needed, the most obvious being the removal of the music.
-
- Background
- ----------
- You are in a labyrinth like cave system, when you hear a rumbling sound. What
- can it be? Is it a cave in, or a rock fall? No, that only happens in Drop
- Rock! It must be your stomach! You're hungry! Positively starving, in fact!
- There's only one thing for it - you need to get to the local chip shop to buy
- an extra large cod lot!
-
- The only problem is - you need to get out of the labyrinth first. (There's
- always some kind of catch, isn't there?)
-
-
- Instructions
- ------------
-
- To get out of each labyrinth, you need to collect all the shields. When all of
- each type have been collected matching doors will open, giving you access to
- other parts of the maze. Other doors can be opened by pushing against them.
- You must also find all the keys and, finally, get to the exit.
-
- Your energy is always being drained as you move around, when you push open
- doors and, quicker, when you walk over a skull and crossbones (but you can
- reduce this by collecting the three individual bones). Energy can be
- replenished by eating bowls of fruit.
-
- Oh, and watch out for the Guardians who roam some areas.
