- Icecream by High Risc
- {fon:tri}
-
- This is one of the best presented PD products around. It installs
- itself on the icon bar (with an animated icon) the demo is divided in
- four bits, these can be turned of and on by clicking <Menu> on the
- icon. The first part starts off with a note from the British Board of
- Demo Classification. Then come the introduction which contains
- brilliant graphics and music. Then it cuts the now famous picture of
- the icecream van from the cover of J & A by the KLF, now the fun
- really starts. You now get a menu a dancing coke can, a frog and a
- waving hand. The coke can and the frog are games, the first is like
- High Risc's first demo 'Slide' except there are much more graphics.
- The second game is called 'Splat' and is one of the best looking
- Frogger clones I have seen. You start by crossing the road, once you
- have done this you must drive your car to get to the next level. This
- part of the demo has a very strange rendition of 'Row Row your boat'.
- Clicking on the hand takes you to the Credits which is like the end
- of a film, it contains a very strange cast and crew list. The
- presentation on this demo should be the standard on the Acorn, this
- is a very polished production.
