  1. This programme is a public domain sound demonstration. It may be copied
  2. freely so long as it is copied in its entirity. All graphics and samples
  3. are (c) Mark Fenwick (also known as nameless face), since there is no
  4. way I will let anyone use the result of a week and a half's hard slog on
  5. the trusty old sound sampler(the one I use is the Printer port sampler
  6. from Vertical Twist, it is easy to use and I highly recomend it if you
  7. are after such a device) Also use was asuite of programmes by David
  8. Radford to compress the 1.2 Megs of sample data required for all the
  9. vocals, guitar solo etc. This suit of programmes can compress samples by
  10. a varying number of bits, play them in sequence without a gap (So thats
  11. how its done) they are of course Public Domain and I am Hopelessly
  12. grateful to David Radford for producing such an excellent set of
  13. programmes. For anyone who is totally under the influence of sampling
  14. they are a must. The application !Player is inside this directory in its
  15. entirity. Its functionis to play the compressed samples. Another
  16. programme !compress is required to compress the samples. Unfortunately
  17. there was not enough room left on the disc for this utility. To hear how
  18. the demo works doulble click on any of the compressed samples (but only
  19. if you get bored) (PRO1 to PRO9C)
