  3. Why etc:

  5. Having bought !Tracker from Serial Port, and having composed some very
  6. long tunes, I found it increasingly difficult to keep "track" of where
  7. certain patterns were. So I decided to write this application. The guts
  8. of the program is ripped out of Play_Tracker, the PD routine supplied by
  9. Serial Portfor use by programmers in their own games, demos etc: The
  10. program is Public Domain and anyone who wants to copy it may do so as
  11. long as they don't sell  it at a profit. Anyone who does can expect a
  12. great deal of bad karma!!!

  14. How etc:

  16. Double click !Trk_Print and the Trk_Print icon will appear on the icon
  17. bar. Please note that the program needs 640K memory free to run. It is
  18. all pretty self explanatory, but for those of you who enjoy reading text
  19. files I will give a rudimentary breakdown of the facilities available.

  21. To load, drag the Tracker Music file to the Trk_Print icon. 
  22. On the main menu.

  24. Print - print out all or any data you may require.  You may also print from
  25. Patterns, Samples or Sequence.

  27. Info - displays music file information.
  28.  
  29. Pattern - displays a pattern. To change pattern, enter pattern number in 
  30. menu box and hit return.

  32. Samples - displays a list of the samples used in the tune.
  33.  
  34. Sequence - displays the pattern sequence in the tune.
  35.  
  36. Printing - the application has been tested with my Epson MX-80 (yes, it 
  37. still works, ten years old next month), so you may need to modify the
  38. print routine. One may print out a single pattern, all the patterns, a
  39. list of the samples, or the sequence, or indeed the whole lot together
  40. if one wishes. Clicking Abort will terminate printing, once the buffer
  41. is emptied.
