  11.     Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute verbatim copies of this
  12.     licence, but changing it is not allowed.

  14.   Copying policies

  17.   i.i    You may copy and distribute verbatim copies of DBW_Render source
  18.          code as you receive it, in any medium, provided that you
  19.          conspicuously and appropriately publish on each file a valid
  20.          copyright notice such as "Copyright © 1987 William T. Baldridge",
  21.          containing the year of last change and name of copyright holder
  22.          for the file in question; keep intact the notices on all files that
  23.          refer to this Licence Agreement and to the absence of any warranty;
  24.          give any other recipients of the DBW_Render program a copy of this
  25.          Licence Agreement along with the program.

  27.   i.ii   You may modify your copy or copies of DBW_Render source code or any
  28.          portion of it, and copy and distribute such modifications under the
  29.          terms of paragraph 1 above, provided that you also do the following:

  31.          o  cause the modified files to carry prominent notices stating
  32.             who last changed such files and the date of any change
  33.  
  34.          o  cause the whole of any work that you distribute or publish,
  35.             that in whole or in part contains or is a derivative of
  36.             DBW_Render or any part thereof, to be freely distributed and
  37.             licenced to all third parties on terms identical to those
  38.             contained in this Licence Agreement (except that you may chose
  39.             to grant more extensive warranty protection to third parties,
  40.             at your option).

  42.          o  cause modified programs when started running in the simplest and
  43.             usual way, to print an announcement including a valid copyright
  44.             notice ("Copyright ©", the year of authorship, and all copyright
  45.             owners' names).

  47.   i.iii  You may copy and distribute DBW_Render or any portion of it in
  48.          compiled, executable or object code form under the terms of
  49.          paragraphs 1 and 2 above provided that you do the following:

  51.          o  cause each such copy of DBW_Render to be accompanied by the
  52.             corresponding machine-readable source code

  56.          o  cause each such copy of DBW_Render to be accompanied by all

  60.   i.iv   You may not copy, sublicence, distribute or transfer DBW_Render
  61.          except as expressly provided under this Licence Agreement. Any
  62.          attempt otherwise to copy, sublicence, distribute or transfer
  63.          DBW_Render is void and your rights to use DBW_Render under this
  64.          Licence Agreement shall be automatically terminated. However,
  65.          parties who have received computer software programs from you with
  66.          this Licence Agreement will not have their licences terminated so
  67.          long as such parties remain in full compliance.

  70.   Contributions
  71.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  73.   ii.i   All contributions will be used for program maintenance, development
  74.          and distribution.
  75.  
  76.   ii.ii  Any user who sends a contribution to William T. Baldridge
  77.          (hereafter referred to as "the original author") will be added to
  78.          a distribution list of registered users. This distribution list
  79.          will be used for mailings of bug fixes, enhancements and
  80.          announcements of future software.
  81.  
  82.   ii.iii This package may be obtained from the original author for a
  83.          (suggested) contribution of $36.00 (in North America), please
  84.          increase accordingly for over-seas orders. This will register you
  85.          as a user, and will add you to the distribution list.

  87.   ii.iv  If copies are obtained from other than the original author, a
  88.          (suggested) contribution of $18.00 should be sent to the original
  89.          author to ensure continued maintenace (and adding yourself to the
  90.          distribution list).

  93.   No Warranty
  94.   ~~~~~~~~~~~

  96.   Because DBW_Render is licenced free of charge, we provide absolutely no
  97.   warranty, to the extent permitted by applicable state law. Except when
  98.   otherwise stated in writing, William T. Baldridge and/or other parties
  99.   provide DBW_Render "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed
  100.   or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of
  101.   merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The entire risk as
  102.   to the quality and performance of the program is with you. Should the
  103.   DBW_Render programs prove defective, you assume the cost of all necessary
  104.   servicing, repair or correction.
  105.  
  106.   In no event unless required by applicable law will William T. Baldridge,
  107.   and/or any other party who may modify and redistribute DBW_Render as
  108.   permitted above, be liable to you for damages, including any lost profits,
  109.   lost monies, or other special, incidental or consequential damages arising
  110.   out of the use or inability to use (including but not limited to loss of
  111.   data or data being rendered inaccurate or losses sustained by third
  112.   parties or a failure of the program to operate with programs not
  113.   distributed by William T. Baldridge) the program, even if you have been
  114.   advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any claim by any other
  115.   party.
