  8. This program (written by Stuart Ford) and it's Help program (written by
  9. Loring) are purely Public Domain as long as no code or data is changed in
  10. any way.

  15. If you're a programmer then you'll too probably find it a chore creating
  16. application directories with all their various files, even before you've
  17. started to write the program. So use this. Enter a leafname, choose your
  18. options, drag and ... Presto! A brand new gleaming application, ready
  19. to program - in seconds.

  21. Instructions
  22. ------------

  24. Load in the usual way by double clicking on the Filer icon. The main
  25. window will appear at once, there is no icon bar icon as you'll probably
  26. quit the program straight after you have used it.

  28. Enter your application name, please ensure that it has a '!' in front of
  29. it. If you're program has a fixed slot size, enter it and ensure that the
  30. option is selected. If you're program has a variable slot size, enter both
  31. the minimum and maximum values of your slot size
  32.  
  33. The remaining four options decide whether you want !Boot, !Help, !Run or
  34. !Sprites files. The sprite file created is just a copy of this application's
  35. Filer icon, but is easily changed.

  37. Versions

  40. Version 1.00 works on RISC OS 2.
  41. Version 1.01 works on RISC OS 3 (and I presume on RISC OS 2)
  42. Version 1.02 provides min/max on slot size.

  44. *** VIRUS ALERT ***

  47. This program produces a maximum of two Obey files and a sprites file. This
  48. means that because this program is written in BASIC, it is not difficult
  49. to tamper with the program to spread viri to all new applications created
  50. by it. Therefore I urge you to scan your hard disc frequently with one of
  51. the many virus killers about. To protect this program, the files within
  52. the application directory should be the following lengths:

  54.        !Boot : 61 bytes
  55.        !Run  : 81 bytes
  56.        !RunImage : 6118 bytes
  57.        !Sprites : 736 bytes
  58.  
  59. If they are not these lengths, check them very carefully. Beware of course:
  60. there is nothing to stop a virus-pirate from changing this help file.
