  1. !Lock Application

  4. This is a very simple application that issues an *ACCESS command
  5. to lock a file or directory. It provides a (quicker) alternative
  6. to using the "Access" option of the directory window menu.
  7.  
  8. Drag a file or directory to the !Lock icon on the icon bar to
  9. lock it (see also the !Unlock application).
  10.  
  11. The "ACCESS" command options are held in the !CmdOpts file and
  12. are set to "LR" in this file as distributed.
  13.  
  14. Note that RISC OS 3 provides a more convenient 'Access' option on
  15. its filer window, making this (and the companion !UnLock application
  16. redundant).
