- WHAT IT DOES
- As the icon suggests but the name doesn't (subtle, eh?) this program
- takes Basic86 files and converts them to true BBC Basic code. Basic 86 is
- the version of BBC Basic used on the PC, and especially the RM Nimbus in
- schools, which was our motive for writing it. You will need to have
- transferred the file(s) you wish to convert to the Arc by a suitable method
- (ie serial link, or via PCDir or MultiFS, NOT by dictation down the 'phone
- or transcribing a hex dump...) Then drag your file onto the Basic86 icon and
- drag the savebox to a destination filer window. End of process. File is now
- converted. No error checking, so don't be a burk and give it Impression
- documents to convert or anything.
-
- This program is public domain, and as such may be freely copied and
- distributed, provided all files are preserved, including this !Help file.
