  6. WHAT IT DOES
  7.       As the icon suggests but the name doesn't (subtle, eh?) this program
  8. takes Basic86 files and converts them to true BBC Basic code. Basic 86 is
  9. the version of BBC Basic used on the PC, and especially the RM Nimbus in
  10. schools, which was our motive for writing it. You will need to have
  11. transferred the file(s) you wish to convert to the Arc by a suitable method
  12. (ie serial link, or via PCDir or MultiFS, NOT by dictation down the 'phone
  13. or transcribing a hex dump...) Then drag your file onto the Basic86 icon and
  14. drag the savebox to a destination filer window. End of process. File is now
  15. converted. No error checking, so don't be a burk and give it Impression
  16. documents to convert or anything.
