Firstly, in case you haven't picked it up by now, you select an extraction instruction from the list by clicking on the extraction instruction you want with the select (left-hand) button. The desired extraction instruction will then be highlighted.
The currently selected extraction instruction is edited from the manual extraction menu, as outlined in previous chapters.
The list can have extraction instructions inserted and delete from this part of the menu structure:
Select ⇨ Insert
Delete
Selecting insert creates a new extraction instruction between the selected one and then one below that, which is exactly the same as the selected one. The new extraction instruction is then selected.
Selecting delete removes the seleted extraction instruction from the list. Therefore the extraction instruction below the original one becomes the selected one.
Also, I should point out that using the 'Add to List' option puts a copy of the currently selected extraction instruction onto the end of the list. Effectively a simple copy function.
As with chapter 5 there is no example but do have a go at inserting and deleting from the list as it can be useful for re-organising the raw data.
