- Zap by Dominic Symes
- ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
- There are many 'Text Editors' around like !Edit, !StrongED and !DeskEdit to
- name a few, but Zap stands out because of its ease of use for beginners and
- the number of options for programmers. It has so many options (too many to
- go into here) it has all the usual features you would expect to find in a
- text editor like Search, Delete etc. It also features some options you
- wouldn't expect to find in a text editor like a Memory Reader, Disc Reader
- (very helpful if you get a disc error and want to recover a file). My
- only problem is that at first all the options can be hard to access because
- of all the menus you have to so through. All the reviews and
- programming was done using Zap!

- have noticed the very large Sampled introduction, this should took over
- 1.2Meg of disc space and you would have needed at least 1.5Meg free to play
- it, but thanks to David Radford's Sample Compressor and Player it fitted
- onto about 700k and played straight of the disc! This compressors Armadeus
