  7. About QuickCLI
  8. --------------

  10. QuickCLI allows one-touch CLI launching.
  11. The CLI, Command Line Interpreter is the line with the '*'
  12. as a prompt (usually! [*SET CLI$PROMPT <prompt>] ) and from this
  13. you can enter commands or BASIC etc. Since using the taskmanager to
  14. do this or even pressing F12 can be inconvenient if you want to hold 
  15. the mouse constantly for work, just click on the icon with SELECT
  16. and the CLI will be entered. Exit by pressing RETURN.

  18. Clicking on the icon with ADJUST gives a confirm option.
  19. If you press Y on the keyboard or click SELECT then the WIMP will
  20. be shut down, the same effect as SHUTDOWN on the taskmanager menu or
  21. pressing ^⇧F12 (CTRL-SHIFT-F12). Anything other than Y or SELECT will 
  22. count as a no, i.e. abort the shutdown. Note this is RISC OS3 only.
