  4. This is a first attempt at creating a Gopher client for the Archimedes.
  5. Before anyone complains, I've never seen one running on any other
  6. platform and have done this directly from the RFC. If you don't like how
  7. I've done it, write your own! At the moment it is only an ordinary
  8. Gopher, support for Gopher+ will follow if there is sufficient
  9. enthusiasm.

  11. A list of Gopher servers is held in <Gopher$Dir>.Servers, you can add to
  12. this list by editing it. You must include the default port seperated
  13. from the name by a space.

  15. To start it, pick a server from the list and click OK. A pause later and
  16. up will pop the root page for that server. Double click on any item to
  17. fetch it. Text pages are displayed in a page but can be saved out to
  18. disc, directory listings are as you'd expect them, files present you
  19. with a standard Save box. Note that images are currently assumed to be
  20. GIFs, even if they are JPEGs!

  24. Set filetypes on saved files.
  25. Add Gopher+ goodies.
  26. Make Adjust-double-click close the source window.
