- The year is 2056 and cybernetic research has brought with it a new age for
- mankind...

- Androids now fight the battles that humans once fought many years ago...

- The quest for the ultimate killing machine is on...

- As the creater of a new class of android you must prove its superiority to

- In order to do this you must take on the ultimate challenge...

- You must survive CyberWar...

- The CyberWar challenge consists of ten levels - each much more challenging
- than the last.

- To complete each level you must destroy the enemy within the given time.

- Instructions :

- For one player game the keys are as follows :
-
- Z - left ' - up <RETURN> - fire
- X - right / - down
-

- For the two player battle game the keys used are as follows :
-
- Player one : (main keyboard)
-
- Z - left F - up G - fire
- X - right C - down
-
- Player two : (numeric keypad)
-
- 1 - left 6 - up + - fire
- 2 - right 3 - down

- Option keys are as follows :
-
- F1 - keyboard control F2 - mouse control
- F3 - sound off F4 - sound on
- P - pause / quit game

- The timer bar at the far right of the screen indicates how much time you have
- remaining to complete the level - if this bar reaches the top of the screen
- you are spontaneously destroyed.
-
- The energy bars at the bottom of the screen show the remaining shield
- strength of each player - once a player's shield reaches zero any additional
- hits will destroy it.
-
- Extra time and energy can be gained by collecting the time and energy bonuses
- as and when they appear on the screen.
-
- Avoid mines as these explode when you get too close to them causing severe
- damage to any nearby player. Wait for them to explode on their own accord
- before entering the area.
-
- Heat seeking missiles are fired by the enemy player on some levels and these
- must be avoided at all costs.
-
- On some levels a plasma cannon will be positioned at the top of the battle
- field. Although you can not see it (for obvious reasons) it will fire plasma
- balls directly at you at random times. The longer you are in contact with a
- plasma ball, the more damage it will do to your shields.
-
- On later levels, standard missile cannons will be positioned in the top
- corners of the battle field. These will fire shots diagonally across the
- battle field at random intervals.
