Axis forces have captured 2 islands off the western coast of Scotland, and intend to attack the mainland in the near future. Intelligence reports the captured field on Jura now hosts a squadron of escort fighters (comprised of ME110D) and a light bomber/reconnaissance group(comprised of BV141B). A small amount of fighters are also present on Mull, as are the main bomber force. The enemy intends to supply these bombers with aircrew and ammunition by flying a supply run from Jura to Mull with fighter cover. This supply run MUST be stopped, and all the aircraft carrying cargo(the BV141B) destroyed.

Controls

A few tips

Your Mosquito is faster than the ME110's, but it is not really as manoeuvrable. Try to outrun the enemy fighters whenever possible.

Be gentle with your mouse(joystick) movements. The Mosquito loses speed very quickly in a tight turn.

It is possible to fly under both bridges ...

When trying to shoot down the BV141's, slow down and attack them from behind. I find that above about 250 knots, I crash into them rather than shoot them down!

Mosquito Fire is a flight simulation created by Chris Mottram using the Flight Sim Toolkit by Simis.
This flight simulator is Freeware. You may freely copy and distribute this flight simulator, but if you wish to use any of the shapes supplied with this simulation (that are not shapes supplied with FST) in your own simulator, you must explicitly credit me with their creation (especially the aircraft themselves, as they took me a long time to create!!).
