  3. Thank you for purchasing TurboCAD Designer 3D!  Please read this document which
  4. contains last minute information that is not in the User Manual.

  7. INSTALLING THE APPLICATION
  8. To install TurboCAD Designer 3D onto your hard disk, please refer to the User's Guide.  Here are 
  9. some things to keep in mind when entering the destination directory:
  10.  
  11. When the Setup program prompts you for a directory name, don't include the 
  12. trailing slash.  For example, use "C:\TCD3D" instead of "C:\TCD3D\".
  13.  
  14. Be sure to specify a valid path.  SETUP will only create the last directory entry in 
  15. the path.  For example, the path "C:\MYDIR\TCD3D" is only valid if "C:\MYDIR" 
  16. already exists.

  19. USING A MATH COPROCESSOR
  20. A math coprocessor makes TurboCAD Designer 3D run about 5 times faster. Geometric 
  21. calculations, shading, and solid modeling all use double-precision floating point which 
  22. is very CPU intensive without a coprocessor.  If you work on large drawings, a 
  23. coprocessor will be well worth the investment and make the program much more 
  24. enjoyable to use.
