- *** 4. IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE INSTALLING ***

- A. You MUST uninstall any previous release of Actioneer for Lotus
- Notes before installing this release.
-
- B. Actioneer will add three new folders ("Business", "Personal",
- and "Someday/Maybe") to any existing databases created with the
- journal4.ntf template.

- ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

- **** 5. KNOWN ISSUES ****
-
- A. If you attempt to run Actioneer right after installing Notes, you may
- get an initialization error message such as "Retrieving User Categories
- Invalid block in user categories data." Try closing Actioneer, then
- opening Notes and adding one or more to-do items. You should now be
- able to restart Actioneer successfully.

- B. If you add to-do categories or journal folders to Lotus Notes you
- must restart Actioneer; the Actioneer Refresh menu command will not
- recognize them in this release.

- C. While this release should fully support extended character sets
- and multibyte languages, date parsing may not work properly with
- all formats or in multibyte languages.

- D. If you change your system's date and time formats you must restart
- Actioneer.

- E. If Actioneer is unable to connect properly to Notes, it will display
- an error message but may still run. If this happens, any notes you
- create may not be saved to Notes! You can verify proper connection
- by opening an action note, selecting the To Do destination, and
- clicking on the Categories drop-down list. If you don't see any
- categories you should restart Actioneer.

- F. You must have the Adobe Acrobat reader installed to view the
- Actioneer Quick Start guide.

- G. Actioneer does not currently enforce the 1,024-character size limit
- on some items. Any information beyond that limit will be truncated.

- H. Occasionally the Actioneer installer does not properly run a
- Microsoft utility which updates files required to display our user
- interface. You may need to manually run the program "401comupd.exe"
- from the Actioneer for Lotus Notes directory on your system.

- I. If you cancel the Notes password dialog that comes up with you start
- Actioneer you will be unable to properly start Actioneer.
