  4. Use Refupdate to keep your Ad-aware refrencefiles up to date.
  5.  
  6. Before using this utility the first time, please
  7. open the options-menu, and specify the destination directory
  8. in which the files will be downloaded.
  9. This should be the same folder, Ad-aware is using for the referencefile.
  10. By default this will be Ad-aware installation directory.
  11. Note:It is recommended to check the backup option too.
  12.  
  13. After clicking the proceed button, your settings will be stored.
  14.  
  15. To check for updates, please follow these steps:
  16.  
  17. 1.choose one of our mirrors (they are updated simultanosely,
  18. 2.click on connect
  19. 3.follow the text messages for details
  20. 4.if an newer referencefile is available,
  21.   it will be installed
  22. 5.the connection will be closed
  23. 6.if your referencefile has been updated, please restart
  24.   Ad-aware and Ad-watch.

  26. You can also use the RefUpdate utility if you have no referencefile at all,
  27. or to replace a corrupted referencefile.In this case please delete the
  28. installed referencefile manually, and perform the update.
  29. If no referencefile can be located, the most recent file will always be downloaded.
