  15. *  Your first step.....DOUBLE CLICK ON SETUP.bat
  16.  
  17.      This file will register the required Java Runtime
  18.      Symantec DLLs so that the application can run.  Without
  19.      Performing this step, you will get "Null Pointer Exception"
  20.      from the DOS window associated with Virtualoso Guitar.
  21.      YOU MUST DO THIS STEP ONCE and before running the first time.
  22.      If you ever reinstall windows, you'll have to run SETUP
  23.      again.

  25. *  Next, click on Virtualoso Guitar with the right mouse button and
  26.    create a shortcut.  Place the shortcut on your desktop, so you
  27.    can easily run Virtualoso Guitar without caring about what 
  28.    directory you placed the files in.
  29.  
  30. *  Finally, double-click on the shortcut on your desktop to start
  31.    Virtualoso Guitar.
  32.  
  33. *  See the User's Manual for Virtualoso Guitar Operating 
  34.    Instructions.

  36. *  GO Online to   http://www.RubyCliff.com   to view the FREE
  37.    Guitar Theory Manual.   This link is provided in the
  38.    GuitarTheoryLink.html file.

  40. *  This software is best viewed with 16-bit color and XGA (1024x768)
  41.    resolution screens.  You may also use the software with SVGA (800x600)
  42.    size screens, however VGA (640x480) is barely usable.

  44.        - Set your screen colors to 16-bit (thousands of colors)
  45.              and size under control panels:
  46.          Windows 95:  Start->Settings->Control Panel->Display->Settings
  47.          Mac:  Apple Menu->Control Panels->Monitors and Sound

  49. *  Everything in the Samples and Images directories are our
  50.    creation and fall under our Copyright 1990-1998.  If you
  51.    would like to use our Images or Samples for something, you
  52.    should email us at sales@RubyCliff.com for information.
  53.    Incidentally, the Guitar is a Fully 3D Rendered to scale
  54.    Guitar, complete with tuning knobs, luthier label, etc.
