- * Your first step.....DOUBLE CLICK ON SETUP.bat
-
- This file will register the required Java Runtime
- Symantec DLLs so that the application can run. Without
- Performing this step, you will get "Null Pointer Exception"
- from the DOS window associated with Virtualoso Guitar.
- YOU MUST DO THIS STEP ONCE and before running the first time.
- If you ever reinstall windows, you'll have to run SETUP
- again.

- * Next, click on Virtualoso Guitar with the right mouse button and
- create a shortcut. Place the shortcut on your desktop, so you
- can easily run Virtualoso Guitar without caring about what
- directory you placed the files in.

- * Finally, double-click on the shortcut on your desktop to start
- Virtualoso Guitar.

- * See the User's Manual for Virtualoso Guitar Operating
- Instructions.

- * GO Online to http://www.RubyCliff.com to view the FREE
- Guitar Theory Manual. This link is provided in the
- GuitarTheoryLink.html file.

- * This software is best viewed with 16-bit color and XGA (1024x768)
- resolution screens. You may also use the software with SVGA (800x600)
- size screens, however VGA (640x480) is barely usable.

- - Set your screen colors to 16-bit (thousands of colors)
- and size under control panels:
- Windows 95: Start->Settings->Control Panel->Display->Settings
- Mac: Apple Menu->Control Panels->Monitors and Sound

- * Everything in the Samples and Images directories are our
- creation and fall under our Copyright 1990-1998. If you
- would like to use our Images or Samples for something, you
- should email us at sales@RubyCliff.com for information.
- Incidentally, the Guitar is a Fully 3D Rendered to scale
- Guitar, complete with tuning knobs, luthier label, etc.
