Transcription: The first unit would follow a course parallel to the River Hoi, overtaking the cities and the villages along the riverside. The second unit, led by Alexander, would follow a course through the mountains in order to subjugate the espassings, the guerre and the hasosyms. Almost a year later, in the spring of 326 BC, both units, having succeeded in their respective missions, met of the Indus riverbanks. Despite the long series of battles both units had taken part in, the losses were limited.
