Transcription: Alexander's first move was to purge the mountains of Tapuri in Hecania of all the Hellenic maternaries of Darius. So he set off to Hecania with the main expeditionary corps. During this mission the setups of Hecania and Parthia surrendered. After that he went to the coast of Hecania in order to submit the Mardi tribe. The Mardi fought against Alexander's army but he eventually weakened their defense and took over the country.
