Transcription: In the beginning of 330 BC, Alexander set off for Perseida to arrest Darius. He passed the river Pasitegris and entered the city of Upsy who surrendered immediately. He went on and fought with the sator of Perseida, Arivazanis, at the Perseidus gates. After winning this battle too, he directed his troops to Persepolis. When they arrived at the city, the crowd of people welcomed the Macedonian king. They were Hellenists, prisoners of war and they were all mutilated.
