Transcription: After Egypt, Alexander moved ahead to Mesopotamia. He crossed the rivers of Fratis and Tigris. There he was informed that Darius had camped with his entire army at the plain of Kavgamila. Then Alexander camped about 10 kilometers away from Darius' barracks and he supported a war conference where he decided not to attack immediately. The difference in numbers between the two armies was vast. The passions were approximately 1 million men as opposed to the 50,000 men of the Hellenists.
