Transcription: The outcome of the battle at Issus was yet another victory for Alexander, who was injured in his die while fighting and with limited losses. Only 500 men were killed. On the other hand, the Persians lost 100,000 men and had 5,000 wounded. It must be noted, however, that the victory at Issus was not only due to Alexander's skills. The sedium stations proved to be favour of the Macedonians like, for example, the wrong choice Darius made or his withdrawal from the battle which created unrest and panic within the Persian army.
