Transcription: When Darius realized how fast and threateningly Alexander was moving through Asia Minor, he decided to interrupt the Macedonian king, so he set off with a great military force towards Sohi. As soon as Alexander heard of Darius' intention, he directed himself to Issus and took over the city. He left the wounded there and he camped at Mirianzus to prepare for his attack against Darius.
