Transcription: Alexander set off for the expedition in Asia with an arthmetical inferior army to that of the Persians. The expeditionary force consisted of the infantry, the cavalry, technical units, the allied fleet as well as scientists and artists with time and integral diplomatic corps developed. The infantry comprised 1,200 Macedonian soldiers, 5,000 archers, 7,000 thousand Hellenic allies, five thousand Metenerys and seven thousand allies, Phasians, Illui, Trivali and Agreni.
