- Ok, you just got Magic Carpet, you've turned it on, played it
- a little and you're saying, "Gee, these are great graphics, but
- what the hellam I supposed to do?" Well, without having seen the
- real docs or played it to the end, here is my synopsis.

- Ok, on the first level, you have maybe one spell. I can't
- remember, but you do need to get the one that is right near you
- when the game starts. It'll look like a red bottle. Just fly
- into it and you'll have the spell. To change spells, press
- return. It'll show you a map and a bunch of pictures
- representing the spells you have. Just click on a spell with the
- button you want to assign the spell to. If your game crashes,
- get the fix. Ok, now, fly around a little looking for red dots
- on the map. These are more spells. At the end of the first level
- you should have three spells total. Ok, now you're saying, what
- next?

- First, if you haven't done this, go blow something away.
- Anything will do, preferably not a person and something small.
- (BTW, you want to use the fireball spell for this, we'll get to
- the other spell first.) Now, when it dies, it'll leave behind a
- gold sphere. Use the #2 spell on this sphere until it turns
- white. This is your color and indicates that the sphere belongs
- to you. That spell is what you use to claim other things like
- buildings, tents and the bones of your foes (although why you
- would want the bones, I have no clue). You get magic power from
- stuff you claim. The game calls it mana like every other CRPG
- there is. Anyway, go claim some more stuff until the second
- status bar under your picture grows a bit. Now, go find some
- open water (land will work too, but water is better cus it
- allows more expansion room) and cast the castle spell at the
- ground. You now have a level 1 castle and a single blimp. If you
- have done what I said, the blimp should take off to start
- collecting the white spheres. When it gets full it'll return to
- your castle and fill it up. You can repeatedly cast the castle
- spell as you get more mana to increase it's mana capacity and
- get more balloons at level 4. When you have filled your castle
- to the two white dots, you have restored the world and can press
- space to pass the level. That's pretty much a simple intro. I'll
- need to play it more to find out more. Good Luck!

- Fireball - Obvious.
- White Spell - For claiming spheres and buildings.
- Fast Forward - (Picture of you blurring forward on your carpet)
- You move fast until you hit reverse, or it wears
- off. Note, your magic doesn't recharge while you
- are in fast mode.

- Fast Backward - (Picture of you blurring backward on your
- carpet) You move fast until you hit forward, or
- it wears off. Note, your magic doesn't recharge
- while you are in fast mode.

- Shield - Again, Obvious. Note, you are not invincible.
- Heart - Heals you fast and all the way.

- Lightning - Better than the fireball but uses magic a lot
- faster. Can kill magic creatures like gryphons.

- Castle - Builds you castle or upgrades it. Won't recharge
- until you have enough mana for the next level of
- castles.

- Multiple Gold Spheres - I have no clue what this does different
- then the white spell. Tell me if you
- find out.

- Eye - Shows you the locations of your foes.
