6 Create or modify the file 'DefaultKeyBinding.dict' in ~/Library/KeyBindings
or in /LocalLibrary/KeyBindings. This file should contain at least the lines
shown in the enclosed sample file. (For further informations about KeyBindings
see 'TextDefaultsAndBindings.rtf' in the OPENSTEP online documentation)
7 Restart ProjectBuilder
*** USAGE ***
There's a new 'Completion' submenu item in ProjectBuilder's tools menu. Choose the 'Show Panel...' command to open the dictionary editor. First of all you may wish to import the settings from Edit's 'Expansion Dictionary' using the 'Import from Edit' command.
Note that the dictionary editor also supports Undo & Redo capabilities (Command-z, Command-Z) with unlimited levels, so you don't need to worry about accidental modifications.
Once you've configured the dictionary you can use it the same way as you did before in Edit. There's only one difference: you have to type the full abbreviation. If the abbreviation is found in the dictionary, the corresponding text is inserted, otherwise ProjectBuilder's original completion mechanism is invoked. In contrast to Edit's behavior of accepting parts of the abbreviation also, this approach leads to much more predictible results.
