  165.     You've spent hours on your hair and make up, put on that $300 leather dress and pulled the corset strings until breathing was impossible, but of course looking hot is more important. You pull on the thigh high boots with the six inch heels, Take a last look in the mirror and think to yourself WOW I look hot, and head out to a TG friendly club.<p>
  166.     You get to the club and make eye contact with the man, woman or sister of your dreams. You walk over to say hello and out comes the voice of a truck driver. The magic and your dream date are gone.<p>
  167.      I have had this happen to me when meeting a sister with a masculine voice, it just destroys the chemistry. If you are willing to spend hours on the look why not go for the complete package?

  169.  I've worked as a dominatrix in NYC and sometimes answered the phones where I work. If a man calls and hears a masculine voice he hangs up. After three years of hard work I got  it down to the point where the caller not only believed my voice but asked if I was available because I sounded so sexy.<p>
  170.     The first thing you will need is a tape recorder to hear yourself and make corrections. The biggest mistake is to try to talk in a high voice, it just sounds phony. When a woman speaks she pronounces her words slowly and carefully, all of the consonants are crisp. Men on the other hand are sloppy in their speech. Listen to women and mimic the voice that you find sexy. A deep voice can still be very feminine if you add a quality of breathiness to it. A good way to practice and get feedback is to play with telemarketers, when they ask to speak to the lady of the house go and get her... after all, it is you! When you can no longer be "read" on the phone you are ready for the real world.

  179. As a TGirl I wanted to find a solution to having pretty nails. I used
  180. the press-on nails at first. They stay on using a glue that is like
  181. superglue. After you remove the nails the glue is still there. I never
  182. was able to find anything that removed the glue properly. The only way
  183. I could get the glue off  was to scrape it off. This also removed layers of
  184. my nails and soon I had ugly looking regular nails. Worse,  the press-on's would come
  185. off with just a small amout of pressure when you didn't want them to.<p>
  186.  
  187. The real solution to this is to find a T* friendly nail manicurist.<p>
  188.  
  189. Have her apply an overlay. This is very hard and will not come off. Then have the
  190. nails filed down to a reasonable level you can live with as both a T*girl
  191. and your other self. You will be more than satisfied with the results. If asked
  192. from friends or workers- simply explain you enjoy having manicured nails
  193. and hate the greasy mechanic look. A lot of men have manicures so they will not
  194. think anything about it, provided they are not too long and look femme. When
  195. you want to go out simply paint them your favorite color. Have them filled
  196. every few weeks and you will have great looking nails as both a male and as a TGirl.
