  1. WOLFENSTEIN 3D!!!

  3. Here is a special deal for those who have completed all the levels and think
  4. that there is nothing more.  Or for those who just can't seem to beat those tough 
  5. levels!
  6.  
  7. When starting the game instead of just typing wolf3d and ENTER, type this instead:
  8. WOLF3D GOOBERS [ENTER]
  9.  
  10. The game will start normally.  go through all the questions and select the game 
  11. and level you wish to play.  When the game begins and you are at the begining of 
  12. the scenario press and hold the left SHIFT and ALT keys, while holding these 
  13. press the backspace key.  You should get the message "DEBUGGING KEYS NOW AVAILABLE!"
  14.  
  15. Once you get this message there is almost nothing you can't do! You can even 
  16. declare yourself God!

  18. Here is a simple breakdown of what I have found sofar:

  20. All keystrokes seem to be TAB and another key.
  21.  
  22. Hold TAB and here is what you get for other keys:

  24. B - Change border color #0-15
  25.      0 - Black           8 - Dk Gray     
  26.      1 - Blue            9 - Lt Blue
  27.      2 - Green          10 - Yellow-Green 
  28.      3 - Aqua           11 - Lighter Blue
  29.      4 - Red            12 - Lt Red
  30.      5 - Violet         13 - Lt Violet
  31.      6 - Orange         14 - Yellow
  32.      7 - Lt Gray        15 - White
  33.  
  34. C - Item and Actor Status 
  35.      Total Statics  nnn
  36.      Statics in use nnn
  37.      Total actors   nnn
  38.      Active actors  nnn
  39.  
  40. E - Complete Current level and advance to next level
  41.      If you think your at the end just use this a few times.  You may find 
  42.      yourself at level 20 or 30 something Secret Level...!

  44. F - Your current location  X,Y and A
  45.  
  46. G - God mode On or Off
  47.      With God mode ON you are invincible!  you can be shot up all you want but
  48.      never lose health % points!!
  49.  
  50. H - Take an intentional hit (but why would you want to?)
  51.      Takes away 16 health % points.  Only works when God mode is OFF.
  52.  
  53. I - Free Items 
  54.      Adds Health points, 50 rounds ammo and 1000 score points!
  55.  
  56. M - Memory usage report
  57.  
  58. P - Pause
  59.  
  60. Q - Quit - Immediate! Dumps right out to DOS!
  61.  
  62. S - Slow motion ON/OFF
  63.  
  64. T - Shows all Scenes, wall blocks, characters, items, sprites, sound signatures,
  65.      even PAC MAN monsters!  Also where the shape is stored in memory (XMS, EMS
  66.      and address) use left and right arrow to advance throught them.

  68. V - Add How many extra VBL's 0-8.  Not sure what it does but the more you have 
  69.      the slower the game runs.

  71. W - Warp to new level 1-10.  Self explanatory...Try a warp to level 10 the use
  72.      TAB E to advance through secret levels!

  74. X - Add extra Stuff.  ??? Nothing obvious?  maybe adds more treasures or ammo.

  77. The above keys really add fun to exploring the game.  God mode is helpful when
  78. looking for secret passages, since no one can harm you.
  79.      Remember the mention of PAC MAN monsters? when on some secret levels of 
  80. some games they will chase you around along with the Nazis.  With out the help
  81. of God mode, you don't stand much a chance against them!  They don't die!
