  1.                LAST MINUTE NOTES ON TASK FORCE 1942 DEMO

  3. 1. The install program crashes on some machines with unusual
  4. hardware combinations.  We try to auto-detect sound cards during
  5. the Hardware Configuration portion of the install, and this
  6. code will not handle all combinations of peripheral cards.  Rather
  7. than remove the feature, we allow the user to bypass the auto-
  8. detect feature by running the install program as follows:

  12.                NEW MICROPROSE 900 NUMBER HINT LINE SERVICE

  14. Effective October 1, 1992 the MicroProse 900 Hint Line will commence 
  15. operation. Information will be available on a range of gaming cat-
  16. egories, such as Strategy, Role-Playing, Animated Graphic Adventure, 
  17. Simulation,Video Game Cartidges, and Sports.

  19. Some of the games covered are: Darklands, Challenge of the Five 
  20. Realms, Twilight 2000, Civilization, Railroad Tycoon, Global 
  21. Conquest, Command H.Q., The Ancient Art of War in the Skies, Rex 
  22. Nebular, F-15 Strike Eagle for the Nintendo NES, David Leadbetter's 
  23. Greens and, of course, Task Force 1942.
