  10. I have run across an anomoly. (That or my ignorance is showing B-{ )

  12. I read all the postings about the GOLD-KEY definitions and decided to
  13. try defining some.  I have all the Ctrl keys defined that were not
  14. "reserved" by TPU or VMS.  So I tried defining Ctrl-X as gold and got no
  15. result.  So I did a Set NoGold, undefined another key that I had defined
  16. (Ctrl-U RESTORE), and defined it as gold.  I picked Ctrl-U because it
  17. seemed that the default definition of Ctrl-X was Restore and I would
  18. learn to use it.

  20. Now here is what is funny. Both Ctrl-X and Ctrl-U acted as gold keys.
  21. When I did a Set NoGold, both keys did the Erase To The Start Of Line.
  22. This happened even when I used the vanilla TPU. Are these two keys tied
  23. together somehow?

  25. Second experiment.  Restarted TPU (customized), undefined Ctrl-U, Set
  26. Gold Ctrl-U, and now Ctrl-X is now a gold key also.  Did a Set NoGold
  27. and both keys now Erase To Start Of Line.

  29. I really only need ONE gold key.

  31. I am on VMS 5.5 with TPU v2.6.  At this time I am dialed in from home
  32. using Procomm+ 2.0 with a vt320 emulation.
