- I/we have this old RM03 Massbus disk that isn't all that well (and not all
- that big, bytewise :-) so I got this idea of trying to make use of the
- Massbus to SMD controller/converter that is part of the RM03 drive with a
- (slightly smaller not so power hungry :-) Fujitsu M2284 (or a M2322) SMD
- disk drive instead. To do that I guess I'll have to (if it can be done at
- all that is..?) change the configuration of the Massbus-to-SMD controller.
-
- So my question is: Can it be done, and how if so..?
-
- (I have been told that is is supposed to be possible to restrap the Massbus
- to SMD controller to handle the CDC 9766 (ca 400MB) SMD drive instead of the
- CDC 9762 (which the RM03 is in disguise :-).
-
- Perhaps not the absolutely right forum for this question, but it seems to me
- to be the one populated with people who might know the answer... :-)
