  13. We are trying to develop a local application to provide weather data to 
  14. a group of observatories here in Hawaii. There is no problem getting the 
  15. MultiNet ser ver to spawn off a process to get the data, however, due to 
  16. the way in which the weather station data we need is used by our 
  17. telescope control systems, the data resides in a Group global section 
  18. and is therefore unreadable by the spawned process. Is it possible to 
  19. modify the RUN command in START_SERVER.COM so that the server is started 
  20. by a (fully-privileged) UIC in the proper group? Will anything else 
  21. break if we do this?
