- Hi,
-
- We need to connect remote PCs to our servers
- via modems and packet networks. These PCs need
- to be X-servers for our application.
-
- I think I can use SLIP or PPP for the modem
- connections. Is there anything better?
-
- The packet networks our customers have are
- a different story. This nasty little beasties
- sometimes don't support 8 bit connections!
-
- Is there a way to tunnel X or TCP/IP though
- a 7 bit connection?
-
- Does anyone know of a solution that can
- efficiently deal with both these problems?
-
- Thanks,
-
