  17.   We need to connect remote PCs to our servers
  18. via modems and packet networks.  These PCs need
  19. to be X-servers for our application.

  21.   I think I can use SLIP or PPP for the modem 
  22. connections.  Is there anything better?

  24.   The packet networks our customers have are 
  25. a different story.  This nasty little beasties
  26. sometimes don't support 8 bit connections!

  28.   Is there a way to tunnel X or TCP/IP though
  29. a 7 bit connection?

  32. efficiently deal with both these problems?
