  24. It looks like you're OK in what you're trying to do.  They'll install
  25. the SABB in the bottom of your 6320. They'll be down at about foot level.  
  26. The RA72s aren't quite 1.0GB, they're more like 950 MB.  A fully loaded
  27. SA72 will take 4 SDI ports on your KDB50s.

  29. We are replacing 11 RA81s with a 4-drive SA72 (I consolidate the disks
  30. next weekend.  Ick).  The new drives will pay for themselves in
  31. maintenance money saved in about 16 months.  BTW, DEC is VERY eager to get
  32. the RA8xs out of the field, so they have had an attractive exchange offer
  33. running:  trade in your RA8xs for RA72s with a very substantial
  34. discount.  If you haven't talked to your DEC SalesDroid about it, do so.
