- Howdy. We have 2 RA82s and 4 RA81s that I'd like to replace. They're
- connected to a VAX 6320 via two KDB50 controllers. My plan is to
- replace them with a 4.0GB SABB consisting of 4 RA72s. According to
- the DECdirect catalog, the SA72-PK is for VAX 6xxx Field Installable,
- which *should* mean that it will fit inside the 6320 cabinet.
-
- Naturally, we have no money, but I can finance them over a couple of
- years using the maintenance we're currently paying on the RA8xs. My
- question to you, if you know the answer, is: is there anything else I
- need besides the SA72-PK? They should fit in our 6320 cabinet and
- hook directly to our KDB50s---right? Am I missing anything?
-
- Thanks.
