- PMDF will support lines as long as 1000 characters (and longer). Note,
- however, that there are some restrictions with VMS MAIL: under the right
- conditions, you can not have lines longer than 255 characters in messages
- passing into/through VMS MAIL. PMDF has a couple of ways of working around
- this VMS MAIL limitation (either wrap the lines or use MIME encodings).
