  13.   Here's another extension that I think would look good in an
  14. extension to MACRO-32 on Alphen...much larger bit fields
  15. for the bit field operations.

  17.   If they were about a disk block (or even larger, a memory page,
  18. however big that gets to be) I could dispense with a lot of
  19. loops when using FFS and FFC. In like wise, it would be easier to
  20. manipulate bit strings arbitrarily with INSV and EXTV.
