- We say [^P]Ptfg[^@]. There is support for 'G' in our code, but it
- didn't work with a subscriber who tested it. If anyone wants to test
- and help us debug it with their SVR4 UUCP, I could perhaps enable 'G'
- on a test-server, but it's not high on my priority list right now.
- If anyone is interested, enquire about it after Thanksgiving by sending
- mail to uunet!postmater. A better solution though would be for everyone
- to bug their vendors to fully support 'g'.

-
- It's undecided right now if/when UUNET can support 'z' or 'i'. The
- current push is toward getting our systems to work better with the
- protocols that we currently support.
-
- The latest release of Taylor UUCP (1.04) is in gamma right now. We have
- a copy of it in our archive, but Ian would like to have some control over
- the distribution (that is, he wants bug/configuration feedback, etc...).
- For more info or to subscribe to their mailing list. Send mail to:

-
- IMHO, if everyone replaced their bundled UUCPs with Taylor's, my work
- would be much easier.
-
-
- BTW: If anyone out there wants to use higher 'g' segment/window sizes
- with their V.32 connections, please remember to let uunet!postmaster
- know before enabling it.
