- Nope. CVI-Carrboro seems to be somewhat enlightened. No descrambler
- required for 2-36 standard service nor HBO. When I subscribed 3 years ago
- they explicitly asked if I had dable ready gear, and a recent channel-list
- insert marks off those that are cable-ready. One of the other premiums is
- also done with traps (as HBO). Some premiums are scrambled; don't get any
- of those so I wouldn't know.

- As far as utilities, Carrboro looks like the place to be: no cable box
- (unlike Chapel Hill), Southern Bell (not GTE like Durham), Duke Power
- (not CP&L).
